Happy Birthday, Little Andrew!
How is it earthly possible that my little Andrew is FOUR?! I wish he'd stay little forever, but I am so excited to see all the growth and development that he has gone through lately, and will continue to make.
Andrew is such a sweet tenderhearted little boy. His amazingly sweet spirit is absolutely impossible to deny. He loves his mom and dad, especially his little sister fiercely. He loves to give 'squeezers' (hugs) and big kisses. He is my little love bug.
He loves to go to preschool and to speech. He also LOVES going to "Andrew's Park." We go for lunch at least two or three times a week. He loves trains, big trucks, dogs, and pumpkins. (yes, pumpkins!) He always has a posse of his 'friends' (all his stuffed animals). They move all over the house with him. It's pretty much impossible to put him to bed with just one stuffed friend. He is still crazy attached to his bear, Bananas. Cannot and will not go to sleep with out him. He loves going to grandma and papa's house. He LOVES homemade cookies and muffins... and asks for them pretty much daily.
I cannot believe that I'm a mom of a four year old. But boy, am I glad that I am this four year old's mom! He is such an amazing blessing in my life. I feel it was just yesterday we were taking that extremely slow and intimidating drive home from the hospital with our new baby. Man, I love this little boy so much.
Happy Birthday, Little Andrew! Your mom and dad love to so much! (Nora loves you tons too!)

7 months
Seriously?! How did my Nora Jean get so old?? Here's what she'd been up to lately...
- She is getting mighty close to crawling. She has mastered movement, of the seal variety (seriously, she looks like a seal). That consists of... push up, plank, thrust the body forward. Repeat. She has some killer core muscles!
- Perfect posture. It's always fun to see how quickly babies go from being all hunched over to sitting perfect erect.
- She loves to eat her socks. Andrew did the same thing at this age. It is too funny to see her do it too. She loves to put any toy in her mouth, bite down on it and continue what ever she was doing with the toy hanging there.
- She's babbling pretty well now. Her babbles of choice: baba, dada, lala. (I'll try not to consider the translations as anything against me.... baba- bottle, dada- Morgan, lala - her Aunt Lollie)
- Loves standing (with assistance) and "walking."
- LOVES being held and snuggled.
- Giggles all the time.
She is such a joy in our lives. My grandpa always makes a comment that 'the sun is coming out' when she comes into a room. It's true. She has such a joyful and sweet spirit that is impossible to deny.
We sure are crazy over her!

Goodbye Summer!!
Last Saturday we had one last day of Summer (even though it was the first day of Autumn). We went to the local lake and enjoyed a lovely and lazy afternoon. Fun was had by all.
Andrew has become quite the little fish this summer. He's able to swim short distances without his float. Pretty great for a three year old.
What is it with babies and sand? She insisted on snacking on the sand until mean mommy picked her up washed her off.
I love this girl!
Man oh man. Am I in love with little Nora! Here are some photos I snapped recently. Man, love her!
Everyday after her nap, this is what greets me as I enter her room.
Look at those eyes!
Even when she's pouting, she's a doll.
Oh dear. Beautiful baby! I love my little Nora Jean!
Happenings. Instagram Style
I cannot believe how MIA I've been lately on this blog. Having two kids definitely keeps me a good bit busier to say the least. Anyways, here's a little glimpse into what we've been up to.
Enjoying a late afternoon at the park while daddy's at school/work.
Cousin time! These two boys have so much fun together.
BEAUTIFUL days at the park (look at those clouds!)
At "Andrew's Park", the park we have a picnic lunch at atleast 2 or 3 days a week there is the perfect spot for us. It's up on the structure, covered, and it's big enough to allow Nora to scoot around. Since we usually have the park to ourselves, we sit up there often.
Look who's getting close to crawling!
Stopping by the pet shop after a fabric store visit. (It's next door, and it's a must).
Giving Lucy (my parent's dog) some love.
Where's Nora? This scooting business gets her in trouble some time!
I was surprised to see UGA poptarts at the grocery store. I gave into my inner child and enjoyed some for breakfast. When in Rome Athens.
Yay! I have my grandma's old serger and I am LOVING it!
Last swimming/lake trip on the first day of fall. The water was great and Nora loved the sand!
This boy is all about hop scotch these days!
Snoozing at the park. Playing is hard work!
I Visit teach a friend who's son is just a few weeks younger than Nora. I took Nora with me on this last visit and the two of them had SO much fun together. We'll definitely have to get them together for a play date soon.
My walking/jogging buddy. She always keeps a perfect pace!
