My Word of the Year...

I've been thinking long and hard about this, but here it is!

I've been having a hard time trying to pick just one word for the year, but STEADFAST is the one! I'm working with the youth in our ward and this is apart ot the mutual theme for the year. I've been realy thinking about this a good bit. If I can continually work on being Steadfast in the Gospel, and in every other aspect, I think that I'll be doing OK!
P.S. If you want to read some more "words" go to the Tip Junkie Blog (the link is on the right side of the page. enjoy!)

Look what I did!!

This past weekend my mom came up! We have had such a nice and fun time together. It was just what I needed! It gets lonely up here in North Carolina. While she was here, I finished (with some coaching) a jumper for myself! It is finished and it looks and fits great! I'm so proud of myself!

Here's a pic of it! I can't wait til Sunday to wear it!!

We're Cougar Blue, Through and through!

Yep, Morgan and I are 100% Cougar Fanatics. On Tuesday night we had that AMAZING opportunity to go see the Cougs in North Carolina! Since our brother-in-law works with the team, we were able to get some pretty sweet seats. Now, you may be asking what gives us the title 100% Cougar Fanatics? Morgan and I drove a mere 190 miles to see the game! Well, the game was pretty short.... and sadly we lost.... BUT we were happy none the less to be able to see the BYU Cougars (even though we spent more time in the car than at the game)!!

Christmas in Maine

This year for Christmas, Morgan and I went to Maine to be with his family. We had a wonderful time! We enjoyed all the time that we had to spend with his parents, and a few siblings and their families. One of our nephews was there, Brady. It was so nice to see him. It's amazing to see how quickly he is growing!
I also fell in love with a book series! I started reading the Twilight books by Stephanie Meyer.... so good!! I'm on book three now... loving it!
I figure that the best way to share what we were up to is by posting pictures!! Enjoy!

Morgan and I went snowmobiling! This was my first
time - it was great! I actually got a chance to drive as well! So fun!
Yes, Morgan is standing!! There was a ton of snow!
Yep, that's me freezing for the sake of pictures...
A lovely picture of Morgan and Brady.
Pic of snow at nighttime in front of Morgan's house
Another shot of the house
The railroad that runs behind their house... I thought this looked cool
This is a river! Completely frozen over! I've never seen anything like this!
Sledding...
An absolutely ADORABLE picture of Brady.
