Dear Sun...

Dear Sun,
Why must you arise SO early? When I was awakend by a certain boy this morning and 4:20am I was absoutely amazed with how bright it was outside. This raising early business is throwing body clocks off. Example: Why is my son going down for his first nap at 8:30 in the morning? (Yes, I said 8:30). Plus, you're making us sleepy people look bad when you're already on the clock hours before we wake up. I appreciate the warmth you offer, but maybe you could just take a break and not some to work until 7am.

Thanks,
Emily

For those who don't know - I'm in Maine right now and the sun rises way too early. This morning the sunrise time was 4:49. That's when it's completely up. That's too early. This is a picture of the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain (in Maine) this is the first part of the US to see the sun each day. How pretty!

Uh-oh!!

He started crawling less than a month ago.... and now he's pulling up! He gets so excited when he does so. We're proud of him too - altough now he's getting into everything. We have a crazy boy on our hands!

Beautiful Maine

I took this photo while I was on a walk with Andrew and Morgan. Isn't it so pretty!! We're really having a nice time up here. It's been nice seeing family, taking nice walks, and enjoying the new hot tub! We went four-wheeling last weekend and saw some beautiful country. Maine's so beautiful!

Represent!

Andrew has allegiance to a few colleges. In this pic we see....
1. East Carolina hat. (He was born an ECU pirate)
2. University of Maine sweatshirt. (Morgan's family lives in that town, PaPa works there...)
3. The red shirt underneath is a University of Georgia shirt. (we're moving there in August for more school)

I wish I had put is BYU socks on then it would be complete! Hopefully he won't grow up too confused!

And yes, Andrew has a bruise on his forehead. He's still getting used to crawling on hard wood floors.

And yes, he is holding a grenade. We were at a parade and they were throwing them out. What a great toy.

Fun with Cousins

We have had a wonderful time in Maine so far. When we got here Morgan's brother, Lucas, and his family were here. We haven't seen them since we moved from Utah 2 years ago. It was so nice to see the boys. Camden has grown up so much. Jack is now a little boy, not a little baby. And we were so happy to see Colby for the first time. Andrew had a wonderful time having some more playmates. It's been too quiet around here since they left to go back home. Anyways, here some pics of the boys...
Colby and Andrew. Just 6 months difference between these two!
Jack pushing Andrew in the stroller
Camden and Andrew...
We discovered that Andrew and Colby had the same outfit. So we decided to make them twins for the day. I love the difference in their legs in this picture. Andrew's a chunk.
Picture of everyone minus Morgan's dad and brother.
Andrew's first bath in a real tub! He had great company!

Water baby.

We took Andrew to the pool for the first time today - he loved it! I think we have a Water Baby on our hands!

Are we bad parents?

We found Andrew like this while we were packing up the truck. No crib, no real clothes, but thankfully Bananas the bear was there to help him out.

So Long Greenville!

You'll be missed! We had a wonderful time living in North Carolina. We made many lasting memories while living there. I have to admit, tears were rolling down my face as we were driving out of town for the last time. Thanks to everyone in Greenville for making it so amazing. You will be missed!

Bath Time with the Little Boy..

What's cuter than a boy in the bath tub? Not sure, so here are some pics...

Loves to eat the wash cloth.

Playing with the missionaries.... haha!

Too sweet.
