Fun at the Park.

Today was one of those days that I LOVED being a mom. Andrew was in a stellar mood, I was in a great mood, the weather was DIVINE - having those temps in the mid 70's is heavenly.

We went to the park twice today. (do I deserve the cool mom award??) The first time was with some friends, which was fun. The second time.... it was just me and Andrew. We had the whole park to ourselves..... for about an hour and a half!
We had a great time soaking up the sun, enjoying nature, and playing. I really needed today. While I was outside with my little man, it hit me how lucky I am to have this little boy in my life. Being outside in the beautiful weather helped me reflect on a lot of things. Simply put, I am truly so grateful for my many blessings, thankfully Andrew is a big one in my life.

Keeping me inline

Andrew knows how to keep his mom inline.

We've been working with Andrew lately with folding arms while we are praying. He's getting a really good hold on it. Well - tonight at dinner it was just me and him. I served him his food - and then went to dish up mine. I sat down and put a bite in my mouth. Then - I see sweet little Andrew folding is arms and sweetly "talking." (might I add, he had not eaten anything yet) Yep - he was saying a sweet little prayer. I quickly swallowed my food and proceeded to say a prayer.

My dad's camera has a light that shines that ALWAYS makes Andrew give the most silly smiles. I love it though. If you needed a pick-me-up today... we'll there you have it!

P.S. Here we are, 18 months old next week and he's working on tooth number 5 and 6. Man, this boy is a slow teether!

Ward Easter Egg Hunt

This morning we had a ward Easter Egg Hunt. Andrew did pretty well going after the eggs. I think he was just more excited about being around other kids! Anyways, here are some pictures from it, enjoy!

It seems like I've been spending a lot of Andrew's sleeping time sewing. I guess I must have a little sewing bug at the moment. I'll roll with it!

Here's a REALLY cute last minute bag I made tonight. I wanted to make this last year, but never got around to it. I'm so glad I made it though!! Perfect size for all those Easter Egg hunts....
