Quick update

We (Emily and Andrew) have been in Georgia for the past week. We thought that it would be wise to let Morgan have some quiet time as he is finishing his Master's Degree. (WhooHoo!!) We flew to Georgia last Friday and are having a great time. Here are some updates:

-Easter was very nice. I really enjoyed the Church Service we had. I was able to see my family, plus Grandma and Grandpa (and minus Morgan, Laura & Chris) Andrew was super cute. He was so sweet in his sweater vest. I could have eaten him up.
-We found out that taking 'cousin' pictures is near impossible. (Especially when they are all hungry and tired!! Here's one of the 20 pictures we toke... (Sadly - we didn't get one good one- I think Rachel and I gave up when we started laughing at all of our kids breaking down at the same time.)
- I found a place for us to live in Athens! It's similar in many respects to what we are living in now. I'm just grateful for the wonderful members of the church there! They saved me from living in a scary place! (trust me, I went into some dives!) While my mom and I were in Athens, Rachel watched Andrew for me. I think that her kids enjoyed having their cousin around. I think that Gavin enjoys "talking" to Drew. Gavin has his own language (babble) that is just too cute.

(I love this pic - I just know that Gavin and Drew are going to be buddies!!!)
-I have been bitten by the Garage Sale bug! Mom, Andrew & I went garage sale-ing on Friday morning. I got some AMAZING deals. I'm amazed with all the clothing & shoes I was able to get for Andrew.
I think that's been about it. My sister Laura & her husband Chris are coming to town on Monday. I'm so excited to see her. It's been since Christmas - too long! Anyways, hope all is well!!!

CVS Diaper Deal

I love CVS and Walgreens! Today I went to CVS and got this GREAT deal....

Original Price for items in picture: 65.94
I paid: 32.25!!

That's a savings of 33.69 or 51%

If you want to get in on this, this is how you do it. Right now CVS has a sale that if you buy $25 of certain Huggies Products you'll get $10 Extra Care Bucks (basically $10 to spend on your next purchase) So I bought 2 diaper packs and some wipes (that came out to$25) and used $4 in coupons.

I turned around and bought 2 more packs of diapers and another pack of wipes and used my $10 ECB (extra care bucks) and another $3.75 in coupons.

And that's how I got these diapers for a steal. So, if you have kids in diapers -now's the time to stock up!

A Worthy Cause!!

Morgan and I have a good friend who is trying to raise some money for a very worthy cause. He is a student at The University of Oregon's Law School. He was given a summer internship in Peru where he will be helping Juveniles there who have been in trouble with the law. You should go to and read his blog. It sounds like a very worthwhile cause.

As one can imagine - this will be expensive. This is not a paid internship and it will cost a pretty penny. He's been able to save $3,500 (which is impressive as a law student!) He's hoping to raise another $2000. This is where it gets funny. I guess the law school has nasty microwaves and refrigerators. If he raises certain amounts of $$ he'll clean them. He's cleaned some. Anyways, go to his blog to read/watch more. It's pretty entertaining.

So here's the deal - He's hoping that on Friday - April 3rd that he can get as many people as possible to donate $1 to help him be able to participate in this internship. Morgan and I have donated some and I hope that we can get more people to help out. Check out his blog - and donate! It's just a buck.

His blog is http://stephenwillcleanthemicrowavesformoney.blogspot.com

Help him out! We all need to participate in more service opportunities!

{Cousin Love}

While we were in Maine, I got to meet our new niece Marinn. She's just too cute! I enjoyed being around an itty bitty baby (compared to Macho Andrew). Andrew also enjoyed being able to look at her and interact with his new cousin!

Look at that cute smile! She's a doll.

Andrew holding hands with Marinn. I think that about 45 seconds after this she received a big whack on the head. (Sorry!)

Them thoroughly enjoying each other.

I wished that we lived closer to the Utah portion of the Stinson clan! I know Andrew would love to be with them more (as would I!).
