The Crib Bedding is DONE!

Here are pictures of the crib bedding, made by yours truly!! I'm so proud of myself :-). I found this adorable fabric... I really like the Owls. I was initially hoping to find something that had forest animals on it - but I had NO luck - nothing on the Internet or anything. When I saw this - I just fell in love with it and the colors. Looks like this crib is ready for a little boy!

My Birthday Present

I'm so excited...

Yep! Morgan and I have a camcorder now!! I am so excited to start playing with it. It's a 30GB hard drive digital camcorder. Hooray! We'll make sure that this baby's life is documented!

The almost 7th month belly..

A Pregnancy Photo!!!

I'm almost 7 months along. We go to the doctor tomorrow for another ultrasound and for my glucose testing, so I'll be filling you in on how long he is and how much he weighs tomorrow. I think that it is so neat that they are able to tell all that by looking at an ultrasound. I'm excited to see him!!

He's starting to get stronger! I've been feeling him move for the past 2 months, but he's starting to put force into his movements. It's fun to watch my belly move around when he does. I think that I'm also starting to tell which parts of the body he's moving. I'm guessing that the stronger movements are legs and feet, and the lighter ones, arms and hands. Every now and then I can feel either his head or rump (mostly his head... I think that he's heads up lately.

I'm still feeling pretty good. I am starting to get more pain in my back and rump. My feet are starting to swell too. Oh the goodies that pregnancy gives you!! But to be honest, I wouldn't give it up for the world!

Sewing, ever sewing....

I've been on a MAJOR sewing kick!! I made the owl bag (which is PERFECT to take to work - I LOVE it!) and now I've moved onto the baby bedding!! I've finished the crib bumper and the dust ruffle.... all I have to do is the quilt and a few crib sheets. After the crib set is done I have a few other projects!
-Baby bag (which I found a cute pattern and fabric at Walmart - so cheap!)
-Mobile for the crib - I'm trying to find a used one that I can completely customize...

I'll be posting pictures of the COMPLETED crib set as soon as it's done.... Hopefully by tomorrow!

Birthday and the 4th

For my birthday, Morgan and I went down to Georgia! (Yeay!) We had a wonderful time. My sweet husband was so great to take the time away from his clients and was also sweet enough to drive both ways (I basically slept... ;-) ) While we were in Georgia I enjoyed celebrating my birthday with my family....

Morgan and I also toke a drive out to the University of Georgia. We wanted to see the campus, Morgan also met with the program director for the PhD program there. We'll be keeping our fingers crossed! (Although they only accept 3-4 students a year... yikes!)

We also went over to the park and watched the fireworks display that the city puts on with my family. We really enjoyed them. The weather really was great and the kids had a great time.

Although you can't really see my tummy - it's there!! The baby is really starting to grow (he weighs over 2 pounds and is a little over 14 inches long now!) And my belly is growing along with him!! Once I have a picture of me that I don't look awful (I know it's just in my mind... hopefully!) I'll post it!!

I only have 100 days left of the pregnancy! That's amazing! I'm realizing how soon October is creeping up on us - hopefully we'll get everything done in time!!
