Lollie and Chris are engaged!!

My sister Laura is engaged! I'm so excited for her and her new fiance!

This past week he has been recreating special dates that they have had. The final "date" was a little road trip to San Diego (where his family is...) They saw lots of pretty sites, and at the last one there were a lot of flowers and such... and that's where he proposed!

A total eclipse of the heart.... oh I mean Moon...

We got to see the lunar eclipse last night! It was pretty cool to see. It reminded me of my childhood. My next door neighboor growing up would always pull out his amazing telescope on nights like this. I remember so many summer nights going to look in his telescope to see either meteors, stars, or planets. I remember seeing the rings on Saturn once... it was pretty cool.

What a great day!

Morgan and I have had an eventful weekend! (It doesn't happen too much in Eastern Carolina...) On Friday, Morgan and I drove to Durham and visited some friends of ours who go to Duke Law. Then.... on Saturday..... we walked all around Duke's campus (which is beautiful!) and then....WE WENT TO A DUKE BASKETBALL GAME!! We actually got tickets! Eric, Morgan's buddy, was nice enough to give us some of the tickets that he camped out for last semester so we could go. (He was able to get in through a stand-by line). The game was amazing! There was SO much energy. We literally had third row seats.... right behind Duke's team and Coach K! It was GREAT!! This was actually the fulfillment of a childhood dream of Morgan's. He really had an amazing time! It was so nice to also spend time with some friends! Yeay for fun weekends!
